Meet Dennis Nelson, Sleep Clinician

I was working as a student respiratory therapist in 1998.  They had a new program at UCC that was aimed at taking people from the community and doing pft tests on them, testing for sleep apnea and treating them if required.  The aim was to get people tested at a higher rate and to give the students hands on experience early in their careers.  It really set the tone for my career as I have never looked back!

My biggest accomplishment is a tough call.  I’m really happy with my chosen career, running a full marathon almost killed me, but I would have to say raising my terrific family has been the most important and rewarding thing I have ever done.  I am a super proud dad of two boys that are becoming truly respectable young adults and I feel so blessed to have been a part of that.

Right from the start I knew helping people was what was right for me.  After twenty years of doing this I still do not get tired of making people feel better and take steps towards becoming more healthy.  What we do has the potential of making significant improvements in people's lives and I find that incredibly powerful and rewarding.

Meet Sam Idemilih, Respiratory Therapist

I choose a career in sleep because, as a Respiratory Therapist, I love being a part of a patients journey - from the moment somebody walks in to the office to inquire about sleep apnea, when he or she could barely keep their eyes open, to the day they come back to tell you about how good they are sleeping and how much energy they have. And, their most common question when they feel better... “Why did I wait so long?”
I love it every minute of working with them!

Outside of Snore MD, my biggest accomplishment is being a dad! It's one of the most rewarding things in the world, in my humble opinion.

Meet Samantha Payne, Clinic Coordinator

After three years of working in the chiropractic medical field in the Lower Mainland, my family relocated to Prince George and I wanted to continue my passion of seeing my patients transition into people that enjoyed a healthier and happier life. My position here at Snore MD was a very easy career choice. Nothing makes me happier than to see patients that are living in a world of tiredness, quickly enter into a world of feeling awake and contented. Their lives change the moment they use CPAP Therapy, and it is so fulfilling to watch.

My greatest accomplishment is without a doubt my three amazing children that make me so proud every day and my family who have been my biggest cheerleaders in life. However, I also think that relocating from London, England to Vancouver, Canada a close second!

Working with Snore MD has allowed me to continue my love of listening to my patients’ stories, understanding ways in which I can help and support them in their journey to good health with their CPAP Therapy, it really is amazing what good night's sleep can bring!

Better Sleep Awaits

If you dream of getting a peaceful night’s sleep, rest assured that the professional experts at our Prince George clinic can help you achieve it.

Once you step through the front door, you’ll be asked to complete a quick intake form. Once completed, our Clinic Coordinator will then ask you to take home our sleep test. This non-invasive test is best conducted over two consecutive nights.

Once the sleep test results are received, our dream team will analyze the results and build a custom plan tailored to your sleep needs.

During the course of your treatment, our specialists will be with you every step of the way, supporting you and monitoring your progress. The journey may take some time, but we promise it’ll be worth it.

If you’re ready to take that first step to a better nights’ sleep, please reach out to our sleep apnea clinic in Prince George today.
